It had been a phase of literary senility may be

Long days of abstinence, though not intentional

Busy schedules, lack of time to focus

All led to resort only to easy access media..

Now back to my favourite passion

Of my own medium of expression

Where I’m free to jot down

All my musings & fantasies

And get relieved & be carefree!!

A RECEPTIVE HEART!!!

16th day of the 25 – day Lent…. The Holy Lent gives an opportunity to confess & prepare for the birth of Christ…. The lent reminds us that the Holy Birth should take place in our hearts & souls, more than all the external bliss..

Still the Carols, Bells, Decorated Tree, Beed Garlands, Stars, Glazing Balls, Candles, Tinsels, Angels altogether create a great feast for the eyes & mind!!! Holidays, Colours, Decorations & Flavour plus Taste enhance the sweetness of X-Mas..

Hope the Lent purify our hearts & prepare us for the Birth of the Lord, who had left all the comforts of heaven to live with us & become the Sacrifice Lamb Himself!! Still He wish to dwell in our hearts.. Lets open the doors for Him!!

SHIP OF THE DESERT

Last Saturday, we were going to a little remote place Wafra, for a drive as well as to meet some friends. On our way, we saw this camel crossing the road. 

We waited for him to reach the other side. Once he reached the other side, he stood there for a second.

Then, to our surprise, he turned his face towards us, as if posing for the snap.

 

Then, he walked away silently. We were really amazed…. Poor creature..

In our rush to improve our circumstances

& enhance our belongings

We fail to think about those around

Who pray for a single meal

We never get time to look around or see them

We realise all these on Oct 16^th

Then its over..

We live with the comforts we have

We forget that we are just custodians

God forgive us for the numbness

& please help all those who lend a hand of support

To those in need!!

THE GIRL CHILD

She’s such a priced possession

On whom nature has bestowed all its beauty

The first time you see her

As a delicate live doll

Still looking so vulnerable

Being pulled out of the

Most comfortable castle of protection

Laying by your side

You feel that God has trusted you

So much to hand over to you

This great treasure

Each day, each moment after it

You find yourself loving her more & more

& such a lovely bonding growing between you & her

You see her growing & see your own self

In each of her expressions & reactions

You thank God for giving you

Such a replica of yourself

You relive each stage of your life

Through her

You find in her not a child, but a great friend

Always willing to share all her feelings with you

& imbibe all yours….

 

(My daughter is the greatest blessing from God

I have ever received

& I hope so that all moms get such girls

In their lives!!

Her world is so lovely

Filled with small big things,

She makes all around her blissful

With her charm, innocence & friskiness

Reminding a butterfly or a blossom

Let the allure nest in her

Her world remain angelic & frivolous

As it ought be

Hope the eyes of the devils 

Who inhabit the earth

Never cast upon her

Let her remain carefree 

Naughty & bubbly 

Through out her playful years!!
